1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using spyapp.net and its services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

SpyApp analyses files, URLs, domains and IP addresses to detect spyware, stalkerware and malware, provides verdicts and scores, and offers community features such as voting and comments. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes.

3. No warranty / accuracy

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive for accuracy, no scanner is perfect. A clean verdict does not guarantee a file or link is safe, and a detection does not always indicate genuine malice. You should not rely solely on the Service for security-critical decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit content you have no right to share, or that contains others' personal data unlawfully;
• Use the Service to develop, test or distribute malware against third parties;
• Attempt to manipulate scores, votes or the threat database;
• Disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• Use the Service for unlawful surveillance or to harass, stalk or harm any person;
• Scrape or resell data except via an authorised API plan.

5. User content and community contributions

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, store, display and use it to operate and improve the Service and the shared threat database. You are responsible for your votes and comments, which must not be defamatory, abusive or unlawful. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics and software, is owned by SpyApp or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.

8. Third-party links and advertising

The Service may contain links to third-party sites and may display advertising, including via Google AdSense. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

9. Paid plans

Optional paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpyApp and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpyApp from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
