SpyApp ("we", "us") operates spyapp.net, a free online service for scanning files for spyware and malware. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
1. Files you upload
When you upload a file, it is transmitted over HTTPS and processed by automated analysis systems. Uploaded files are treated as threat-intelligence samples: they may be retained, re-scanned as detection engines update, and shared with security partners for research purposes. Do not upload files containing personal or confidential data. Uploads are dissociated from your IP address after processing and are not linked to your identity.
2. Information we collect automatically
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps, kept for security and abuse prevention and deleted on a rolling basis.
- Cookies: functional cookies for site operation, and advertising cookies as described below.
3. Information you provide
Comments, votes and contact-form messages are stored to operate those features. Display names on comments are public; email addresses are not.
4. Advertising
We display ads served by third-party networks (such as Google AdSense). These networks may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. 5. What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never require an account or email to scan a file.
- We never connect uploaded files to your identity.

You may request deletion of comments or contact-form data by emailing [email protected]. Depending on your location, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor verified requests.
7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
