Upload your file
Drag any file onto the scanner or pick it from your device — documents, programs, archives, scripts, images or Android APKs. Files up to 100 MB are supported. The upload is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and never tied to your identity.
Fingerprinting
We compute the file's SHA-256 hash — its unique fingerprint. If the exact file has been scanned before, you get the existing report instantly, including its full history and community votes.
Multi-engine analysis
New files go through a type-aware pipeline: malware signature matching and structure checks for every file, macro detection for documents, disguise checks for executables — and for Android APKs, manifest and permission analysis, DEX code inspection, certificate verification and SDK inventory.
One clear verdict
All results compress into a single traffic-light verdict: Safe (no engine flagged it), Warning (suspicious traits like hidden macros or risky permissions), or Malware (matches known malicious signatures). Plus a report you can share.
What the three verdicts mean
SAFE No detection engine flagged the file and its structure shows no risky traits (and for apps, the certificate checks out and permissions match the app's purpose). No scanner can guarantee 100% safety, but this file shows no known indicators of malware.
WARNING Not confirmed malware, but something is off: hidden macros in a document, a file pretending to be another type, permissions that exceed an app's purpose, or aggressive advertising SDKs. Read the details before opening or installing.
MALWARE The file matches known spyware, virus, stalkerware or trojan signatures. Do not open or install it. If it's already on a device, remove it, run a device scan, and change passwords for important accounts.
